Easter Felties and Patterns Easter is less than a week away! I know it snuck up on me quick this year. Besides creating new felt patterns for Easter, we’ve decided to hatch some chicks as part of our celebration. In honor of the season, and spring, and our beautiful flock of chickens I made a fun new felt sewing pattern. Can you guess what it is? That’s right! A chicken and baby chick feltie pattern. Aren’t they precious? I can almost hear the peeping! The new pattern includes pieces to make a mini and larger size flock of hens and chicks. And you can make them sans legs to pop them into cute little nests. A perfect toy for play or even as a Easter decoration.   More Easter Bunnies! It’s winter here in Maine but I’m looking forward to Spring and the great big thaw. I’m planning my gardens and seed starting, and dreaming of warm weather. Today I’m battening down the hatches for a big Nor’easter. And getting ready for my very pregnant Nigerian Dwarf goat to give birth. Because, ya’ know, of course she’ll have her babies at the height of the storm. Newest Handmade Dolls, Soon To Be Sewing Patterns, And A Post Christmas Glow   All Of The Things That Are Happening Here…   It’s been a horribly busy holiday season. End of year holiday season for us includes two children’s birthday parties as well. And a lot of planning. So… busy, busy, busy!   But now that the holidays are over, and Birthdays are coming to a close (tomorrow!) it’s going to be all cold winter days snuggled up by the fire with hot cocoa, sewing dolls and handmade felt animals. And making sewing patterns for you! Here is some of what I’ve been working on…     I’m working on a line of full sized dolls with adorable doll clothes and will all accompany small pets or friends and accessories. Hopefully eventually even add small originally illustrated children’s books featuring all of my doll characters.   I love this
