Recommended supplies and materials:
- felt sheets
- needle and thread
- cardstock or heavy paper
- embroidery thread (optional)
- buttons or snaps
- toy stuffing
This toadstool mushroom doll house is best made as a hand stitching project. I designed the dollhouse to be created with felt, however I do recommend reinforcing the walls with light cardboard (such as an old cereal box) for added stability. Because of this, you really could get very creative with the sorts of materials you use to make your dollhouse!
The basic mushroom dollhouse pattern can be made as a complete beginner’s project with little embellishment. But you can also choose to hand embroider whimsical details, and experiment with unique fabrics and materials for a very one-of-a-kind dollhouse project!
This pattern is computer drafted and presented to you by digital download in the form of a printable PDF. This means you can save the file to your desktop and print it whenever needed!
The pattern includes the pieces and instructions for building a basic felt mushroom dollhouse.
